The Libertarian Party of St. Charles County is an affiliate of The Libertarian Party of Missouri that aims to spread the ideas of lower taxes, smaller government, and expose corruption. We believe in individual freedom and personal responsibility. Our mission is to promote the values of the Libertarian Party in St. Charles County and beyond. Ending The Wars
One of the most important issues, if not THE most important issue in America is the expansive military empire and its interventionalist policy. Weapons manufacturers and military contractors have made billions of dollars off of foreign conflicts, costing the taxpayer trillions of dollars, tarnished the US reputation abroad, and most importantly, took the lives of hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians and the brave soldiers who volunteered to defend our country to keep us safe. Our military men and women deserve better than to fight endless wars, which creates more enemies and perpetuates the cycle of conflict. The taxpayers deserve better. YOU deserve better.

We believe that the US should only use military force as an absolute last resort. Not only would a smaller military presence around the world save the Americans hundreds of billions of dollars every year, we would be making less enemies and Americans would be safer.

Limited Government
One of the founding principles of libertarianism is individual freedom. Our constitution was written to protect American citizens from the tyranny of oppressive government. It has expanded well beyond the its intended purposes at the expense of personal freedoms and hard earned tax dollars. Libertarians support policies that shrink the size and scope of government and, in turn, lower taxes.

Free-Market Economy
The best, most flourishing parts of our economy are those not hindered by government interference. A true free-market economy based on supply and demand creates the most fair and balanced system. Government intervention in the form of regulation and subsidies often benefits large corporations at the expense of competition and value to the consumer. As Libertarians, we will fight to reduce the dirty hands of government in our economy.
